Courses to give your creative career a boost

Aged 16-25? Not in employment, education or training? Want to have a creative career but find it hard to get started? Our free Careers courses are ideal for you.

We'll help you develop confidence and practical skills, and give you personal, one-to-one advice and support throughout and after the course.

Our Careers courses are held over eight weeks (two sessions per week), in partnership with creative partners in the city.

This is a brilliant programme and Creative Youth Network should be commended for its initiation and delivery.

Carolin Peto, Quality Assurance Officer, Bristol City Council

As well as giving you hands-on experience, a Careers course is a route to a Level 1 or Level 2 Arts Award, equivalent to a GCSE.

After you finish one of our Careers courses, one of our job coaches from our Careers Advice service will work with you one-to-one, to identify the best next step, help you with your CV and applications, and provide in-work support further down the line.

The course really helped me. I now feel a lot more confident about my artwork and in myself. A friend and I are going to make a zine about identity and finding out who you are after health issues. I never would have done all this 3 months ago, I really appreciate every single part and I'm glad that the support continues after the course.
