As a busy venue, we welcome numerous visitors and in order to protect the most vulnerable people we work with, following government advice regarding the spread of coronavirus (Covis-19), we have closed all room and venue hires to avoid mass gatherings.

An innovative charity and arts space

Our Kingswood Estate is the centre of operations for Creative Youth Network, as well as the home to 25 other arts and charity organisations.

Set in an urban oasis of green space, the beautiful Victorian buildings have tons of character and are perfect for hosting meetings, workshops, events and exercise classes.

Music Production

About the course

11-16 and mad about music? Our Music Production course gives you the tools and support to make your own tracks and develop your own sound, while learning about performance and how to get your music out there.

You'll learn how to make your own music using Logic Pro software.

You'll meet and work with professional DJs and musicians, and visit gigs and music venues across the city.

You'll get the chance to showcase your work, and support to further your training after the course.

This course can also help you to complete your Bronze Arts Award.

I love doing the music production course. The tutors are really helpful and friendly, they're very passionate about what they do. I've been coming back term to term because there are always opportunities to learn more. I can now produce my own tracks, I've performed at events across Bristol, like the Harbour festival and at Colston hall. I've even met Goldie. Most importantly, it's given me the confidence and inspiration to DJ and make music.

Creative Futures Commission Callout 2024

Get paid to create a commisison! The Creative Futures programme helps young people aged 16 -25 to develop their creative practice and skills. The Courts Visual Arts Commission 2024

Creative Youth Network is looking for emerging and early career artists aged 16 – 25 years old to create artwork for their new creative enterprise hub in Bristol’s city centre, The Courts. These paid commissions, of which there are two, are available for individual artists or collectives, with a particular focus on commissioning: 1 x artist or collective from a Global Majority Ethnic background 1 x artist or collective who identifies as Disabled
Storytelling Arts Club

Tell your own story or other stories you create through acting, movement, photography, painting, writing, arts & craft or whatever way you choose. WHEN: Tuesdays (no session during half term, holidays) From 4:30-6 pm WHERE: The Station (Classroom), Silver Street, Bristol, BS1 2AG
Song Writing

Want to write your own songs? This course is all about experimenting with your voice and song writing in a creative way, having fun, and learning something new to make you feel inspired.
Fashion

We used our new sewing and embroidery skills to fashion brand new face masks to bring smiles everywhere we go.
Animation

11-16 and dream about joining the likes of Aardman, Pixar or Ghibli? Come get a taste of what it's like to bring characters to life. Try out different stop motion animation techniques and make your own short film.
Music

11-16 and mad about music? Learn how to produce a track with Logic Pro, use a loop station and gain confidence in performing.
Theatre

11-14 and interested in creating and performing? Join our fun Theatre course in Hillfields.
Film Making

One to One Support in Bristol

It is with regret that we are now closed to referrals to the Targeted Youth Service (TYS) as of Wednesday 15th March. However, BDP are still accepting referrals for all young people age 11+ who are involved with substances and/or affected by family use.
Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England. We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.
