It’s been an action packed weekend full of sunshine and showers and even hail for the CYN team. Our young people headed out to perform at both St George’s Day Fair in Kingswood Park on Saturday 21st April and again on Sunday 22nd at The Festival of Rotary, held on College Green, Bristol.

Despite the April down pours we managed to put up our gazebo - with huge amounts of help from our Y4Y crew. There were fantastic performances from the very talented Purple StoneJoe Probert and CYN's Off the Wall Crew, who wow-ed the crowd with some cracking moves in their window of sunshine... just in time it seems before the heavens opened again and the umbrellas came out, literally as the last beat was played! Y4Y event photographers were on hand to capture the day – visit our Facebook page to take a look.

The following day at The Festival of Rotary our fab team shared their cheerful smiles, showing off their creatives talents and spreading the word about The Station, a state of the art youth hub that opens later this year. Highlights of the day included a great drumming sess, Joe Probert gracing the stage for a second, slightly drier gig, and more brilliant moves from the UAS dance crew.  A MASSIVE thank you to all involved, including Y4Y young people who provided stewarding for the day, sharing their fantastic events management skills and experience in support of The St George’s Day Fair.
