Bristol Young Student of the Year Award Winners Announced.

On the 26th March the first Bristol Young Student of the Year Award winners were announced in a glittering awards ceremony, which took place in the Bristol Fashion Week pavilion at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway.  

The event included a dance performance from Hype who are the world urban dance champions as well as presentations from business leaders.

Three amazing teams of young people from Oasis John Williams, St Mary Redcliffe and Filton College were part of the awards as they have been designing an iPhone app for The Station.  

The app was all about encouraging young people to use the building when it’s open but also to inspire them to try new things.  

We were really pleased that Victoria Dymond from Oasis John Williams, who created our favourite app, won ‘Best Project Manager’ for her work.  Finishing touches are now being made and it will be ready for The Station launch in October.
