About the course

16-25? Out of work? Out of school? Passionate about journalism and want to learn the ins and outs of the media?

Come join us in a relaxed course, where you can boost your skills and express your creativity for free.

No journalistic experience needed!

Over the 4 weeks you will be working with Sammie Spungold: journalist and BCfm radio presenter of The Boomtime show.

You'll learn about different journalism techniques used in radio, TV and written media.

I loved the course, it's been really fun. I've learnt a lot, met new people and got to work with great professionals. The group was well organised and everyone was supportive. I wanted to improve my confidence by taking part and this experience has done just that. I now know I can do so much more than I ever thought would be possible
