"She's my lover, teacher, friend"

Diagnosed with leukaemia at 21, Tom spent seven months in isolation. There he met Lady Death. When he found the courage to look her in the eyes, he discovered that she was not a monster, but a teacher, a lover, a friend.

Based on his experience, this performance of music and poetry asks the question: Who will you become when you are faced with Death? What will truly matter?

This frank, moving and uplifting story is about transformation, the transcendence of the self and the triumph of the human spirit against all odds. It is an exploration of Love in all its forms; a celebration of Life and Death.
