About the course

16-25? Out of work? Out of school? Want to learn more about film-making? Want to get practical experience, work towards a deadline and push your creativity further than you've ever had before?

Come join us in a relaxed course, where you can boost your skills and see your ideas come to life.

Over 4 weeks, you'll be working with Richard Hale, who has ten years experience as a film tutor working in multiple areas of teaching: directing, producing, camera, sound and editing. He's facilitated over 100 short films, including documentaries, music videos, silent videos and online content. His work includes working with the BFI, the Barbican and the National Portrait Gallery.

You'll work in groups and individually, exploring your creative ideas and improving your confidence.

I loved the course, it's been really fun. I've learnt a lot, met new people and got to work with great professionals. The group was well organised and everyone was supportive. I wanted to improve my confidence by taking part and this experience has done just that. I now know I can do so much more than I ever thought would be possible
