What does music mean to me? The world. Fun. Style. Identity. Passion. Expression.

Music plays a role in everyone’s life. From those we idolise, to how we dress and express ourselves.

This summer the artists, filmmakers, designers, musicians, and theatre makers from our Creative Courses have worked together across the city to respond to how music has played a role in their lives.

Culminating in an evening of performances, fashion, visuals, projections, and of course, music, this event has been developed in partnership with Bristol MuseumsMaking Noise is a youth takeover of the ‘Bristol Music: seven decades of sound’ exhibition at the M Shed, which takes stories told by people in the city to celebrate and debate Bristol music.
