We are open to all young people and offer a place to relax, get advice and support, and explore your interests and talents. The Station is a supportive and creative environment where you can express yourself freely. And for any problem, no matter how big or small, we're here to help. Some of the top youth organisations in the South West are here under the same roof, giving you a wide choice of services and things to do. The Station is open Mon-Fri from 9am - 9pm and Sat from 9am-5pm. We're also a vibrant event venue and this Autumn / Winter season we're bringing you a special Celebration Programme to celebrate 10 Years of The Station! Out of work? Out of school? Passionate about gaming and want to learn the ins and outs of graphics, sound, narrative and mechanics? Come join us in a relaxed course, where you can boost your skills and express your creativity for free. No programming experience needed! Over the 4 weeks you will be working with Vince - the producer of film, music, comics, animations, games and founder of South Blessed and Crown Roots. You'll learn about the complete process involved in making computer games and how storytelling is different in this medium. I loved the course, it's been really fun. I've learnt a lot, met new people and got to work with great professionals. The group was well organised and everyone was supportive. I wanted to improve my confidence by taking part and this experience has done just that.
