We are open to all young people and offer a place to relax, get advice and support, and explore your interests and talents. The Station is a supportive and creative environment where you can express yourself freely. And for any problem, no matter how big or small, we're here to help. Some of the top youth organisations in the South West are here under the same roof, giving you a wide choice of services and things to do. The Station is open Mon-Fri from 9am - 9pm and Sat from 9am-5pm. We're also a vibrant event venue and this Autumn / Winter season we're bringing you a special Celebration Programme to celebrate 10 Years of The Station! Whether you're a designer, stylist or just interested in textiles, this course gives you the skills and experience to turn your love of fashion into a future career. You'll create new work, up-cycle old items and learn different tailoring and sewing skills, from clothing to costumes, tapestries to accessories. You'll meet and work with industry professionals in a relaxed space. You'll get to visit fashion studios and attend events and exhibitions to inspire your own collection. This course also lets you earn credit towards a Bronze Arts Award, and at the end of term your creations will be showcased to the public. The courses have helped me to develop my passion. Fashion teaches me to be a designer, it is my dream to become one and I can see myself improving a lot.
