Murmur Our Creative Summer Programme May – July 2018 Murmur is a three month programme of exhibitions, screenings and performances created by diverse and emerging artists from the Creative Youth Network’s programme of courses and projects. Celebrating new talent and unheard voices, Murmur brings together three programmes that support creative development, progression and individualism for 11 to 25 year olds in Bristol. Programmes include: Creative Courses a programme of 10 week courses in filmmaking, theatre, printmaking, music production and fashion for 11 - 16 year olds. Participants get to work alongside professional artists to create new work, learn new skills and achieve their Arts Award qualifications. Creative Futures a programme that enables emerging young artists aged 16 – 25 years old to reach your potential, giving them skills, networking opportunities, studio space and professional business support to turn their passion into a career. Alumni a growing programme of support for young people aged 16 - 25 that have completed a course or project with Creative Youth Network and continue to use studio space to create new work, have access to networking opportunities and receive mentoring from our Creative Director and Producer. “Creative Youth Network offers a variety of pathways for emerging artists. It not only invests in these young artists as an organisation, but is also lead by them, constantly integrating and collaborating to facilitate more creative ventures within Bristol.” Deepraj Singh (24), Young Trustee and Dance Artist Alumnight May 8th, 6pm The Station An evening of new work created by Creative Youth Network’s alumni of artists, theatre makers, musicians and performers. “Alumnight will host some incredibly talented people who have worked with Creative Youth Network in the past and have gone on to use their skills, passions and creativity to make professional and reputable work.
