West of England Works is a large scale project involving a number of different organisations and delivery partners. The hope is that the project will support at least 1537 young people and adults (participants) into gaining employment through a community-based support programme.

Please note – This post will be based in Bath and North East Somerset (BANES). Exact office location to be confirmed. The successful candidate will have excellent local area knowledge as they will be required to raise our profile in the BANES area. The candidate will work effectively and collaboratively with other providers in the BANES area to complement and enhance existing provision.

The successful candidate will also work closely with our busy NEET Team (Not in education, employment and training). Regular contact with the team (based in our Kingswood and Central Bristol offices) is required.

The roles will involve a significant amount of 1:1 work – this will include helping young people to create Individual Action Plans, identifying barriers to accessing education, employment and training and supporting young people to remain in a positive destination. There will be a requirement to work closely with other organisations and specialist providers to provide young people with full, holistic support.

We require candidates who are passionate, professional and conscientious. We are also looking for candidates with a driving licence and own transport.

If you want to help change young people’s lives and join a busy and vibrant team – we want to hear from you.
