The applicant must have a passion for working with young people in the arts, and experience working with those excluded or at risk of being excluded from school. The role is designed to deliver a high quality creative course for young people at risk of disengaging from education, using the arts to support their transition back into a mainstream learning environment.

It will require working to build and nurture relationships with students; responding to their needs, whilst enabling their creative journey to have tangible outcomes for a final showcase at the end of the eleven week programme.

We strongly encourage CVs from candidates who work in a flexible manner, and who can offer a variety of creative art forms. The successful freelancer will be working with an assistant artist within the school environment, with sessions supported by a member of staff from the school, and the Complementary Education coordinator.

Rate of pay: £30 per hour of delivery (2 hours per week)

Deadline: Please send your expression of interest and an up to date CV by Friday 13th October
