Rare opportunity for a fundraising and communications professional to join our charity’s Senior Management Team, and to play a key role in taking our fundraising and communications to the next level.

Creative Youth Network is the South West’s largest youth charity and plays a key role – both directly and through our numerous partnerships – in enabling young people, no matter what their background or circumstances, to reach their potential.

We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring fundraising and communications professional to help us build on our existing base of contract and grant income (including stewardship of a strong portfolio of existing funders e.g. Comic Relief, Children in Need, National Lottery Community Fund and Arts Council England), to help us build new income streams in particular from major donors, regular giving and community fundraising (areas in which we start from a comparatively low base), and to increase the impact/reach of our communications (not only to support our fundraising, partnership and service delivery activity, but also in line with our strategic aim to amplify the voices of young people).

We offer 33 days' annual leave (including bank holidays, pro rata for part time) per year, generous pension scheme, a cycle to work scheme, opportunities for flexible working, paid breaks and fantastic development opportunities.

We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to ensuring that underrepresented communities are represented in our organisation. We particularly welcome applications from the BAME community.

This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Salary: £43,656 (pro rata) grade 4.6

Hours: 24 hours per week, with possibility of up to 32 hours per week negotiable for the right candidate

Contract: Permanent

Application deadline: 18th April 2021

Interviews: Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th April

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check
