Lead Positive Activities Worker – Kingswood and Cadbury Heath

An acting up/ temporary development opportunity for an experienced youth worker to manage our new youth centre’s in Kingswood (Made Forever) and Cadbury Heath (The Batch).

We're looking for an experienced youth worker to lead our two new youth centres, to provide positive and engaging activities for young people. The post will provide leadership to a team of Positive Activity Workers, leading activities engaging young people from South Gloucestershire through the youth clubs. We provide a range of activities such as cooking, sports, arts and crafts and music.

The ideal candidates will have experience of delivering youth activities, being able to plan, deliver and evaluate sessions, whilst also being able lead a team, and support young people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. The candidate will have a good knowledge of barriers that young people face in accessing positive activities and will be able to support young people in accessing appropriate support.

This post will be based across Made Forever (Kingswood) and The Batch (Cadbury Heath).  

Salary: £28,630 per annum (Grade 3.1)

Hours: 40 hours per week
