About us Work for us Lead Youth Worker - Hanham (Part Time) We are looking to recruit a dynamic, passionate and committed youth worker to join our dedicated team at Hanham Youth Centre. Creative Youth Network is a successful charity organisation that supports young people to reach their potential and lead fulfilling lives by building secure and positive relationships with them based on their individual unique needs. We offer young people safe spaces to express themselves with creative courses, youth clubs and practical advice and support. We’ve opted in to the Bristol City Council Equality Charter and are dedicated to promoting equality and diversity within the organisation You will be an experienced youth worker and will be leading ‘Project Xclusive’, a targeted accredited project at Hanham Youth Centre. You will provide positive and engaging centre based and detached activities for young people who have been identified as benefitting from additional support in Hanham. You will engage young people from South Gloucestershire through Hanham youth club. We provide a range of activities such as cooking, sports, arts and crafts and music. You will have experience of delivering leading and planning youth activities, including leading a small team of staff or volunteers and will be expected to plan, deliver and evaluate sessions, whilst also being able to work as part of a team. You will be supporting young people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. You will have a good knowledge of barriers that young people face in accessing positive activities and will be able to support young people in accessing appropriate support.
