Creative Careers: Radio and podcasting About the course 16-25? Out of work? Out of school? Give your career prospects a boost by learning how to create a successful podcast or radio documentary. Social issues, culture reviews or comedy - radio and podcast documentary is one of the best ways of telling stories about your world. Led by ex-BBC TV and radio producer Caleb Parkin, this course teaches you how to find those stories, how to record them using interviews, and how to make them stand out. During the course you'll learn the basics of recording, researching and editing a podcast or radio programme. You'll get to put your new skills into practice straight away, working in teams to record sound and voices around the city. And you'll get the inside knowledge on the best free tools out there, so you can carry on making your own sound stories after the course ends. We'll support you every step of the way, with one-to-one mentoring and career progression support, and the chance to complete a Level 1 or 2 Arts Award.
