Twenty years later, they have grown to be one of the largest Centres for Independent Living - supporting disabled people with a wide range of services. They work with anyone who identifies as being a disabled person including people with physical impairments, mental health conditions and learning difficulties. For young people aged 13-25, WECIL run a regular session at the Station every Monday from 6:45pm - 9pm. It's an opportunity for young people to develop their self-confidence and independent living skills and the sessions are informal, inclusive, fun and varied. This April, our gallery space is dedicated to art created by young people during these sessions. Come along to learn more about inclusivity and the journey of young people to independent living.
