About us Work for us Open Call for Young Graphic Designer The Brief: Post 16 Participation are looking for a young graphic designer aged 16 – 25 years old, to design a new logo for their service. The logo will be used throughout their marketing and promotional material including social media, online, print, presentations and branded templates, i.e. letter headed paper. The target audience for the clients marketing is: Schools, Young People, Youth Services Professionals and Parents / Carers. The client is asking for designs that are: Recognisable with the ability to clearly identify the programme Bright Have a non-commercial feel to them, yet be professional Inspiring Clear and bold Use the words ‘Post 16 Participation’ Have an element of red in the design to link it to Bristol City Council This is a paid opportunity worth £250 - £300 for the successful applicant. Background to Post 16 Participation: Post 16 Participation (P16P) is a section of Bristol City Council’s delivery to young people, ensuring all those aged 16 -19 have access to education, employment and training. Their role is to promote, encourage and track young people’s opportunities to participate in education, employment or training. Working with a number of different services and organisations, P16P oversee and manage a range of activities, including: Identification of NEET (not in education, employment or training) young people Data collection, analysis and reporting Stakeholder consultation Identify gaps in provision Publishing an up to date offer for post 16 education Supporting the development of Bristol Careers Strategy Supporting NEET young people and those most at risk of NEET to participate and progress to further learning and employment with training, including through personalised support with support workers. There is no necessary qualifications needed, but an intermediate to high skill level in graphic design required.
