This six-week programme will give you an introduction to cardio, strength, core stability and nutrition to help you live a healthier lifestyle.

This programme is aims to:

  1. Encourage young people who are engaging in minimal or no physical activity.
  2. Allow young people to explore exercise or support maintaining regular physical activity.
  3. Boost young people low confidence and self-esteem. 

Basic breakdown of programme:

Week 1: General introduction/registration etc.

Week 2: Introduction to cardio exercises & cardio theory.

Week 3: Introduction to strength exercises & strength theory.

Week 4: Introduction to core stability/balance & core stability/balance theory.

Week 5: Mixed exercise session of all exercise types covered so far & nutrition/hydration theory.

Week 6: Special guest (TBC) to deliver exercise session & review, handing out certificates etc.
