Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England.

We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.

Our Trustees

Our board of trustees is responsible for the overall control and strategic development of Creative Youth Network.

All of our trustees are experts in their fields, with a passion for working with and for young people. They each volunteer their time to us, to ensure that we are doing everything we can to give young people from all backgrounds the opportunities they need to reach their potential.

Our Impact Report and Accounts

In 2015 we helped 3094 young people.

At our central Bristol youth hub, The Station, we had many more extremely marginalised young people coming to us for help. These young people are facing difficult challenges, including homelessess, substance abuse and poor mental health.

In the same year, 30% of attendees on our arts courses in Bristol had learning difficulties, more than 50% were from low income families, over a third had a disability and 15% were dealing with mental health issues.

We helped each one of these young people to turn a corner towards a more stable life, by offering consistency, emotional support and specialist training, based on the unique needs of each person.
