We believe in the power of creativity, and the unique way in which this can allow self-expression and unlock young people’s potential. Each year we invite thousands of young people to take part in creative activities at our venues and in their communities, helping them explore, make and create.
No matter what your age, experience or ability, our programmes can bring you open up new opportunities, help build confidence and bring you together with like-minded people. Whether you're just getting started or you're an established professional, we can support you.

Aged 11-19? We run creative activities at our youth clubs, programmes and in our one-to-one sessions. Our youth workers are trained to use creativity to bring young people together and give you the opportunity to try something new.
Aged 11+? These FREE 10-week courses take place every academic term across the city. From song-writing to poetry to 3D art there is lots of choice and opportunity to develop your interest and learn new skills.
Aged 16 - 25 and eager to find your footing as an independent artist, maker or creative? Our Creative Futures programme can help you develop your creative practice and navigate your first steps through masterclasses, mentoring, networking and paid commission opportunities.

Want to write your own songs? This course is all about experimenting with your voice and song writing in a creative way, having fun, and learning something new to make you feel inspired. Read more
