We are looking for two freelance producers to assist the production of Reignite, a festival of new and existing art by emerging young artists in Bristol.

Role Description

Each role will support the Creative Lead and work with the Creative Producer, with a specific interest in having one Assistant Producer who assists on the visual and digital art programme within the festival, and the other focusing on the live performance programme within the festival.

These roles are specifically aimed at those at the start of their careers aged 18 – 25. No previous experience is required, but a keen interest in event management, producing and skills in organization are key.

Hours: Approximately 70 hours - time to be used flexibly, but availability where possible on Tuesdays from the 9th November until the 7th December for production meetings and to work with the Lead Artist, and to be available from the 12th – 18th December for the event.

Fee: £700 each

About Reignite

Creative Youth Network is looking for two Freelance Early Career Assistant Producers to work alongside the Creative Lead and Creative Producer on Reignite – a multi arts festival of digital, visual and live performance including installations, film, music, spoken word, cabaret, theatre and more to reignite the creative careers of those aged 16 – 25 years old post the COVID-19 pandemic. Reignite is a takeover of new and emerging work by young artists and it’s taking place at Creative Youth Network’s venue, The Station from the 15th – 18th December 2021. The Creative Lead, Millie Wood-Downie, and Creative Youth Network are commissioning new work whilst co-producing areas of existing work by young artists. Throughout the festival there will be evenings of performances and events.
