About the workshop

Join us to translate into another language a special online game which local game designers have created. In this online workshop, you will:

  • Find out how video games are translated into other languages, and have cultural references changed, before being launched in other markets
  • Meet a game translator and tester and find out what it is like to do this as a career
  • Have a hands-on experience of translating for video games

This workshop is in partnership with University of Bristol, Festival of Social Science and Thinking Futures, the University of Bristol's festival to share and celebrate research in the social sciences.
