1 in 3 people in Bristol are under 25. And in South Glos, it’s more than one in four.

Despite this, our voices are not heard. Decisions are made for us, not with us.

We are stepping up. Will you too? Come be a keynote listener.

11th July, 6pm at The Station, Silver Street, BS1 2AG

We are young people enabled by Creative Youth Network and we are inviting decision makers from the region to be active keynote listeners and talk to us about:

  • spaces and places for young people
  • youth crime and violence
  • youth homelessness
  • isolation and loneliness
  • decrease in creative subjects in education
  • diversity and inclusion
  • bullying and mental health
  • lack of access to the creative industries
  • access to the arts and creativity for all young people

What should I expect?

We are keen to talk to you about the issues that affect us most. From our lived experience, we'll tell you our stories and what we think possible solutions are to these problems.

  • 6-6:30pm - Welcome and formal AGM - Chaired by Maria Imran, Creative Youth Network young trustee
  • 6:30-7pm - Five young ambassadors sharing our stories: our challenges, our lived experience and solutions
  • 7-7:45pm - Group discussions. You can choose two group discussions to get involved in. We invite you to listen to our stories and together we can come up with proposed solutions. How can we work together to make a change?
  • 7:45-8pm - Feedback. Make a pledge: what will you do about the issues we've discussed?

You can share your feedback, questions and comments on social media using #the33percent
