Young people who attend our We the 33 events share their voices and opinions to key decision makers in the region. The young people are able to speak about how they feel and discuss the real issues impacting their lives. These events aim to create change and make Bristol & South Gloucestershire a place they want to live, work and thrive.
We have held 'We the 33%' events at Creative Youth Network, giving hundreds of young people a platform to be heard by key note listeners on a range of issues from youth violence to experiences of LGBTQ+ young people.
The 'The Art of (R)evolution' exhibition is an expression of young people on the theme of positive change through protest and social action. The artwork made by young people will include different art forms such as paintings, screen printings, illustrations, posters, photographs, short films, collages, poems, spoken word pieces, music. The exhibition runs until 20th November 2023 at The Station, BS1 2AG.
Our latest event, which young people led and hosted at The Station, was buzzing with creativity and centered around the exhibition. 50 young people and 31 listeners attended to view the exhibition and hear from 5 of our Youth Voice Panel on the change they most want to see.

This We the 33 event was dedicated to growing up LGBTQ+ and the young people discussed the real issues impacting their lives. We heard from young speakers aged 12-18 Jess, Adam, Chloe and James who shared their stories and urged the decision makers to make positive changes. Read more
