The Station has lift access to the first, second and third floors. There are accessible toilets located on each floor. The front of the venue has paved access and on-street parking directly outside of the main entrance (unrestricted with a blue badge).

The Performance Space is not accessible from the main entrance, see below.

We welcome feedback on things we can do to improve the accessibility of our venue and website. Get in touch now.

Attending an event in the Performance space

When attending a large event at the Station there is step free access available on Rupert Street into our main space. If you would like to use this entrance, please either call ahead or come to our main reception desk (via the step free entrance on Silver street) and a member of staff can assist you. The Performance Space floor has good sight lines and good visibility on the stage depending on crowd density and set up. The stage can be set at different heights (maximum 1 meter). If a smoking area is being used, this is wheelchair accessible. If you would like to discuss the best options for your visit to the venue, please get in touch or speak to a member of staff on arrival.

Seating arrangements for theatre, music and dance performances vary and we unfortunately do not have a viewing platform.

Please contact us if you have any questions about the set-up for a particular event.

Guide dogs

Guide dogs and personal assistance dogs are permitted at The Station.

A gig may not be the best environment for your dog; specifically, the volume of music at such events over a sustained period and in an enclosed space - continuous sound levels max 107db / peak level max 140db - could pose harm to your dog's hearing. We recommend that you seek advice from your guide-dog school before attending a gig with your dog.
