You are welcome to write as much or as little as you like. The prompts are an example of what sort of things you might consider, you do not have to select the ones listed here. Extracts will be taken from your description by Elysia for the artworks.

Use the prompts below as inspiration when writing about your walk:

  • How did the ground feel beneath your feet? What material was it made from?
  • Did you walk on behalf of someone else?
  • How did the elements feel against your skin? Was it hot, cold, humid?
  • Were you alone or with others?
  • Did you see anything that you wouldn't usually notice? A crack in the ground, a new building, an old building?
  • Did you see any monuments?
  • Did you meet someone new?
  • Did something allow you to imagine?
  • Did you discover a new path?
  • Did you start to daydream?
  • What did you think about?
  • What wildlife did you see? if any?
  • Did you walk fast or slow? Were you in a hurry?
  • Did you have a particular destination?
  • Did you get lost?
  • Did your senses merge together? Was one more dominant than the other?
  • Could you hear traffic or machinery?
  • What stood out to you the most?
  • What sort of buildings did you see?
  • Did you walk through different environments, such as a field, a shopping centre, or a residential area?
  • How did it make you feel?

How can we help?
