On this course we will cover: Heritage, Narrative, Working collaboratively, Working independently, Zine making, Comic and story telling and Illustration.

You'll get to learn more about a career in illustration, zines, comics and story telling. Learning directly from professionals in the industry. Get hands on experience working towards a creative project.

For 16-25 year olds who are not in education, employment or training.

The course will be held at the Royal West of England Academy (RWA)

Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England. We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.
Refer a young person

It is with regret that we are now closed to referrals to the Targeted Youth Service (TYS) as of Wednesday 15th March. However, BDP are still accepting referrals for all young people age 11+ who are involved with substances and/or affected by family use.
The Station

The Station is Bristol's Central Youth Hub and we have a session every night, Monday to Friday. Come and learn new skills, hang out with friends in the evenings, and get support – all in a relaxed, creative environment.
Creative Programmes

We believe in the power of creativity, and the unique way in which this can allow self-expression and unlock young people’s potential. From local art clubs up to support for emerging young artists, musicians, performers and creatives, we want young people from all backgrounds to have access to creativity.
