We ask that artists who are considering applying to ensure they can be available on the majority of Tuesdays through Sept - Dec so they can make use of this free work space. Each paid commission will result in a final sharing of work, whether that be an exhibition or live performance.

If you are finding it difficult to find your feet as an artist or creative professional, then we can provide the support you need to produce your own work, and develop your networks and skills. Alongside support to develop your commission and creative or artistic practice, our programme will also provide regular free opportunities to turn your passion and work into a profession. All our young creatives have access to:

   Workshops   Networking events   Sharing Circle

What can I expect?

Monthly sessions led by professionals in the Arts and Creative Industries to develop your skills and understanding of the creative sector. Subjects include:

-         What it means to be a freelancer and how to do it

-        How to make money from your creative practice including fundraising

-         Marketing and developing your brand as an artist

These events aren’t the regular nerve-racking or awkward networking events! Meet other people in the creative sector in a comfortable and informal environment.

We aim to change the structure of “networking” by including guest speakers from the industry and providing friendly events across that bring likeminded young creatives together to share ideas and experiences.

Sharing Circles are opportunities to share ideas or work in progress in a safe and friendly environment with peers aged 16 - 25. Bring along your commission as it progresses to receive feedback on their creation(s) or initial thoughts to help take your work further.

Where do they take place?   These workshops will take place across Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare, in person and online. Networking events take place quarterly in person across Bristol and North Somerset.
