As a journalism graduate, I found my strength in storytelling through writing. I’m now extending my filmmaking abilities – I’m able to show as well as tell.  

Thanks to my placement, I have filmed three new short films and picked up invaluable soft skills to work in the creative industries and with young people. 
 
I think everyone deserves to contribute and be counted. Voices from minority groups like mine aren’t often heard or represented honestly in the creative industry which is a great shame because strength lies in difference.
