Currents - Presentation Night

Young, creative and looking to share your work?

Come along to Currents – a presentation night for anyone who’s developing new work and wants to discuss it, get feedback or just share an idea.

This night is organised by Creative Futures. We’re four young artists who are working on our own projects with Creative Youth Network. We’re keen to take this opportunity and develop a supportive network of artists of all disciplines.

If you’ve ever felt left out because you haven’t followed the traditional route or because you haven’t had a chance to share your work with others, then this is your chance to make things happen.

 

Format of the night

We’ll start off with a relaxed quarter of an hour, when we’ll have coffee, cake and a bit of a chat. We’ll then introduce ourselves and let you know a bit about what we’re doing and what we’re imagining Currents becoming.

This is the exciting bit: 4 artists, presenting for 15 min each, with the opportunity to feedback ideas, reflect and encourage after each presentation.

At the end, we'll decide on a 'hot topic' and discuss it as a group.
