Frequently Asked Questions - Kingswood What time can I hire a space until? Monday to Friday, our spaces are available to hire from 9am to 9pm. On Saturdays, you can hire out our spaces from 9am until 5pm. Sundays we are closed except if prearranged with centre manager. During opening hours, there is always an on-call Estates officer who you can reach if you have any questions or need some assistance - their contact number is 07919596695. Do you offer a discount for other charities and community organisations? Yes, we do. All charities and community organisations with a registered charity number may receive a 20% discount to the standard rate. Please provide this to us when completing the spare hire booking form. We may also offer discounted rates for any full day hires at the discretion of the Kingswood Estate manager. Please enquire at the time of booking. What equipment do you provide? We have various items of furniture available and can set rooms out as directed depending on your specific requirements. We also offer free flipchart papers and pens, and a digital projector and screen is available for hire for £5 per session should you require this. Please indicate your requirements when completing our booking hire form. Please note that as Studio 1 has a professional spring maple dance floor, we ask that no food, props, furniture or outdoor/heeled shoes are allowed in this space to protect floor from any damage. How many toilets are there? There are a number of accessible toilets across the site depending on which space you hire. All of our hire spaces are on the Ground floor. Do you have onsite parking? Yes, we have a number of free onsite parking spaces on a first come first served basis. There are also a number of parking spaces for those with additional accessibility needs. Do you have any catering facilities at the venue? Refreshments are available Monday to Friday at an additional cost of £15 per session (for up to 20 people). This includes tea, coffee and biscuits set out for you, on a self-service basis. Alternatively, there is the option to hire an urn of hot water for only £5 per session and you bring everything else that you need. There is the possibility of hosting an event that sells alcohol with a temporary event notice (TENs) upon agreement with the Kingswood Estate manager, and in compliance with the conditions of the notice and our opening hours. Please let us know when you make a space hire enquiry. Can you accommodate outdoor events? Dependent on availability and its intended use, we may able to accommodate outdoor events on the Kingswood Estate site. Any requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and all enquiries must be forwarded to the Kingswood Estate manager. Do I have to pay for the set-up and pack-down time of my booking? All set-up and pack-down time must be included in the booking. Are dogs allowed in the building? Only guide or assistance dogs are allowed into the venue. Do you have Wi-Fi?
