Jack Warne

Hi, I’m Jack and I’m a social media admin, writer, video editor… among other things!

I like to bring a visual element to the work I do, which comes from my passion for film. I love to bring ideas and projects alive in visual ways, whether that be creative images or short edited videos.

My placement at Rife Magazine really allowed me to develop the social media side of my writing and communication skills, and get used to managing lots of content through platforms like Buffer. It also allowed me to be creative with images and short videos to promote articles which I particularly enjoyed whilst working with other content creators. My second placement at Encounters Film Festival really allowed me to develop my visual communication skills in an industry I feel passionate about, and edited multiple videos to promote the festival.

Looking ahead, I'm currently writing the monthly Meshworks (Creative Workforce for The Future) newsletter for aspiring creatives, and I'll be looking to get involved with more writing and film opportunities as I continue my creative journey.

Nimbus Sounds: Our partnership to provide young people with access to music

Creative Youth Network, Basement Studios, Trinity Arts Centre and Aspiration Elevation Creation (ACE), work together to create a journey for young people, many of whom have limited access to music provision. It allows young people to create music in settings that they feel comfortable and no matter what their level of experience - from within their youth clubs, through to bespoke courses and even up to developing original tracks and progressing into professional music opportunities.

One to One Support in Bristol

It is with regret that we are now closed to referrals to the Targeted Youth Service (TYS) as of Wednesday 15th March. However, BDP are still accepting referrals for all young people age 11+ who are involved with substances and/or affected by family use.
Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England. We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.

The Station

The Station is Bristol's Central Youth Hub. Come and learn new skills, hang out with friends in the evenings, and get support – all in a relaxed, creative environment.
