Help to get a job & Careers Advice

Out of school? Out of a job? Out of motivation?

We know how difficult it can be to get the job you want, or even to access training, once you've been unemployed.

That's why we offer a number of ways for you to get your foot back on the ladder towards a career you'll love.

Our Careers Courses are designed to get you inspired and motivated, by helping you work towards an arts qualification with people interested in the same creative subjects that you are. These free courses are available for 16-25 year olds who are not in education, training or employment.

Our Careers Advice service can help you when you're ready to start finding work. We'll help you set goals, polish your CV and look for work experience, while our specialist job coaches give you one-to-one advice.

Looking for recruiting roles, open days and creative opportunities? Check out our career and skills opportunities

Ever wondered the career paths of professionals? In the series Dispelling myths about careers, experienced professionals guide you through their personal career journeys.

Refer a young person who is at risk or is out of education, employment and training by filling in this form.

"My new life starts today. Thank you so much, Creative Youth Network." - Emily, on her first day at work

Learn new skills, meet new people and take steps towards your future career

Our careers support is here to help you grow your confidence, dispel myths about various careers paths and build new skills for the future.

We are thrilled to work with MEPC, the developer behind exciting plans for St Mary le Port, on this programme of youth work and workshops in and around Castle Park, as well as this digital careers advice resource for you to access.

Infinite Identity | Exhibition at The Station

Life without creativity and imagination would be a very dull and possibly apocalyptic affair. Without the ability to see further than our physical reality, and to see ourselves as more than just the sum of our parts is perhaps one of the most powerful abilities we have as a species. This exhibit seeks to highlight not only diversity in thought, but diversity of self.
