Proud to Be - Hanham

This is a small group that is a safe and supportive space to be yourself and have fun!

This group will give you a chance to meet other LGBTQ+ young people, join in with activities such as crafts, games and cooking and work on/discuss LGBTQ+ projects. You will also get a say about what activities we do in the group.

The group is run by trainee wellbeing practitioners and youth workers from Creative Youth Network and Diversity Trust.

These FREE youth groups are for young people aged 11-19 years olds.

A FREE creative careers festival for young people aged 14-25. 3-7PM @The Courts, BS1. Thursday 24th October 2024. Have you ever thought about a career in the creative industry? Do you have a passion for creativity but never thought this could be a VIABLE job?
We the 33% 2024

Join us for our next We the 33% event on Thursday 28th November 2024, 5:30-7:30 PM at Made Forever youth centre, BS15 4RQ. This event is for young people who want to share their opinions. The theme is Youth Safety.
St Anne's House

Do you want a regular place to be creative and meet your mates? St Anne's Young People runs on Tuesdays 5-7pm and as a group by young people, for young people. It runs with the support of a team of creative youth workers from Bricks and Creative Youth Network.
Proud to be | LGBTQ+ group

In our Proud to be sessions, you can find a living community of other young people who are LGBTQ+, questioning, or allies. It's more than just a club. It is a safe place where anybody can be themselves free of judgment and feel equal in a place of acception and understanding.

Free courses for young people struggling with education or employment

Knowing what steps to take to get back into employment, education or training can be difficult. That’s why we’ve created a range of FREE courses led by YOU, to help you develop the skills, confidence and knowledge to take the next step.
Become a Young Trustee

We are looking for young people from across Creative Youth Network’s projects and services to join our Youth Voice Panel. We would like to hear from young people of all ages and backgrounds.
Mental Health Support

Are you a young person aged 10-17 who needs support with their mental health? Refer yourself or someone else for free support from our Wellbeing Practitioners.

Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England. We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.
Refer a young person

It is with regret that we are now closed to referrals to the Targeted Youth Service (TYS) as of Wednesday 15th March. However, BDP are still accepting referrals for all young people age 11+ who are involved with substances and/or affected by family use.
The Station

The Station is Bristol's Central Youth Hub and we have a session every night, Monday to Friday. Come and learn new skills, hang out with friends in the evenings, and get support – all in a relaxed, creative environment.
Creative Programmes

We believe in the power of creativity, and the unique way in which this can allow self-expression and unlock young people’s potential. From local art clubs up to support for emerging young artists, musicians, performers and creatives, we want young people from all backgrounds to have access to creativity.
