�About the course

16-25? Out of work? Out of school? Want to learn more about upcycling, visual merchandising and styling? Want to get practical experience and start your fashion portfolio?

Come join us in a relaxed course, where you can boost your skills and express your creativity.

Over the 4 weeks you will be working with Louisa Jones, founder of Dutty and co-founder of That Thing fashion/streetwear boutique in Stokes Croft.

You'll be given the chance to window dress one of St Peter's Hospice shops around Bristol.

You will work in groups and individually, exploring your creative ideas and improving your confidence.

I loved the course, it's been really fun. I've learnt a lot, met new people and got to work with great professionals. The group was well organised and everyone was supportive. I wanted to improve my confidence by taking part and this experience has done just that. I now know I can do so much more than I ever thought would be possible

This course is for 16-25 year olds who are currently out of work, education or training.

The Courts Visual Arts Commission 2024

Creative Youth Network is looking for emerging and early career artists aged 16 – 25 years old to create artwork for their new creative enterprise hub in Bristol’s city centre, The Courts. These paid commissions, of which there are two, are available for individual artists or collectives, with a particular focus on commissioning: 1 x artist or collective from a Global Majority Ethnic background 1 x artist or collective who identifies as Disabled
Storytelling Arts Club

Tell your own story or other stories you create through acting, movement, photography, painting, writing, arts & craft or whatever way you choose. WHEN: Tuesdays (no session during half term, holidays) From 4:30-6 pm WHERE: The Station (Classroom), Silver Street, Bristol, BS1 2AG
Song Writing

Want to write your own songs? This course is all about experimenting with your voice and song writing in a creative way, having fun, and learning something new to make you feel inspired.
Fashion

We used our new sewing and embroidery skills to fashion brand new face masks to bring smiles everywhere we go.
Animation

11-16 and dream about joining the likes of Aardman, Pixar or Ghibli? Come get a taste of what it's like to bring characters to life. Try out different stop motion animation techniques and make your own short film.
Music

11-16 and mad about music? Learn how to produce a track with Logic Pro, use a loop station and gain confidence in performing.
Theatre

11-14 and interested in creating and performing? Join our fun Theatre course in Hillfields.
Film Making

14-18 and interested in film? Discover the secrets of the industry, get inspired by professionals and learn how to direct, produce and edit your own films.

One to One Support in Bristol

It is with regret that we are now closed to referrals to the Targeted Youth Service (TYS) as of Wednesday 15th March. However, BDP are still accepting referrals for all young people age 11+ who are involved with substances and/or affected by family use.
Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England. We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.
