Spotted is a positive, forward-thinking reinvention of the negative discourse surrounding Weston-super-Mare. It aims to offer new perspectives through my own personal accounts and of other local contributors via poetry, writing, video and verbatim recordings.

About Sophie

Sophie Shepherd is a poet, performer and Youth support worker originally from Weston-super-Mare (can you tell?). She has just completed a comedy writing project for Theatre company Looping the Loop called Self-Welp and recently had her poetry featured on BBC Radio Bristol. She is currently focusing on ways in which she can make her work more community-focused.
