The Station | Open Access Sessions

About

This is your youth club. We call these "Open Access Sessions" because they are open to all young people aged 13-19. Take over The Station: come as you are, on your own or with your friends. There's an opportunity to play your own music, learn instruments, cook up a storm in the kitchen and make it buzz with energy and fun.

Get to know our Youth Workers who are trained to respect you, listen to you and support you. We have discussions, organise events together and run music sessions in our studios. Join the trips, the conversation and the creative and fun community that is The Station. It's safe, it's sociable...

Ages? 13-19 year olds

When? Tuesdays 6-8pm and Fridays 5-7pm. Come to either or both sessions.

Where? The Station, Silver Street, Bristol BS1 2AG

How much? Free

Should I book? This is an open access session at The Station – all are welcome. There's no need to book, just turn up on the day.

In our Proud to be sessions, you can find a living community of other young people who are LGBTQ+, questioning, or allies. It's more than just a club. It is a safe place where anybody can be themselves free of judgment and feel equal in a place of acception and understanding.

Want to make music? If you’re interested in creating music, singing, playing instruments, rapping or writing songs come and join our Music club at Hanham youth club.
The Station: Hire our Spaces

The Station is a unique building with some of the best competitive prices in Bristol City Centre. Whether you're looking to host a conference, gig or workshop, we have a space for you. Set in Bristol's shopping district, you'll be close to all amenities. Hiring out space is easy, convenient and flexible to fit your needs. Free courses for young people struggling with education or employment

At Creative Youth Network we understand how overwhelming it can feel trying to make the best choices for your future. Knowing what steps to take to get back into employment, education or training can be difficult. That’s why we’ve created a range of FREE courses led by YOU, to help you develop the skills, confidence and knowledge to take the next step.

We The 33 | The Art of (R)evolution

The title of the exhibition is 'The Art of (R)evolution' and the theme is positive change through protest and social action. The artwork made by young people will include different art forms such as paintings, screen printings, illustrations, posters, photographs, short films, collages, poems, spoken word pieces, music
Song Writing

Want to write your own songs? This course is all about experimenting with your voice and song writing in a creative way, having fun, and learning something new to make you feel inspired.

One to One Support in Bristol

It is with regret that we are now closed to referrals to the Targeted Youth Service (TYS) as of Wednesday 15th March. However, BDP are still accepting referrals for all young people age 11+ who are involved with substances and/or affected by family use.
Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England. We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.

The Station

The Station is Bristol's Central Youth Hub and we have a session every night, Monday to Friday. Come and learn new skills, hang out with friends in the evenings, and get support – all in a relaxed, creative environment.
Creative Programmes
