Young Carers Bristol

Creative Youth Network and Young Carers Support centre are working in partnership to provide Fortnightly youth groups for young carers aged 11-18 across Bristol.

These sessions are funded by Bristol City Council and FREE to attend.

Where are the groups?

Our groups are in South (Hartcliffe), North (Lockleaze) and East Central (Barton Hill). Please see the flyer attached for more details of the group nearest to you and dates and times we are on.

Who can attend:

Young carers aged 11-18 in Bristol. (You don’t have to be a registered as a young carer to access the group).

What can I do there?

Take a break, make new friends, talk to a youth worker and take part in fun activities. There will also be food :)

How can I get there?

We recommend making your own way if you can. Transport can be arranged but due to limited resources we are only able to provide taxi’s to those families that do not have their own means of transport or are unable to access public transport.

Nimbus Sounds: Our partnership to provide young people with access to music

Creative Youth Network, Basement Studios, Trinity Arts Centre and Aspiration Elevation Creation (ACE), work together to create a journey for young people, many of whom have limited access to music provision. It allows young people to create music in settings that they feel comfortable and no matter what their level of experience - from within their youth clubs, through to bespoke courses and even up to developing original tracks and progressing into professional music opportunities.

At Creative Youth Network we understand how overwhelming it can feel trying to make the best choices for your future. Knowing what steps to take to get back into employment, education or training can be difficult. That’s why we’ve created a range of FREE courses led by YOU, to help you develop the skills, confidence and knowledge to take the next step.
The Courts Visual Arts Commission 2024

Creative Youth Network is looking for emerging and early career artists aged 16 – 25 years old to create artwork for their new creative enterprise hub in Bristol’s city centre, The Courts. These paid commissions, of which there are two, are available for individual artists or collectives, with a particular focus on commissioning: 1 x artist or collective from a Global Majority Ethnic background 1 x artist or collective who identifies as Disabled

We The 33 | The Art of (R)evolution

The title of the exhibition is 'The Art of (R)evolution' and the theme is positive change through protest and social action. One to One Support in Bristol

It is with regret that we are now closed to referrals to the Targeted Youth Service (TYS) as of Wednesday 15th March. However, BDP are still accepting referrals for all young people age 11+ who are involved with substances and/or affected by family use.
Who we are

Creative Youth Network is a registered charity based in Bristol, in the South West of England. We are youth workers, professional artists, freelancers, volunteers and campaigners. We help all young people to reach their potential and live fulfilling lives, by building secure, positive relationships with them based on the unique needs of each person.
